Absolutely gorgeous views of the mountains and the stars at night - the photos don't do it justice! This is a perfect place to relax and enjoy time with friends and loved ones. We had a little trouble with the key code the first time, and the hosts responded immediately and remotely let us in. We highly recommend both the house and the hosts!

We had a fantastic stay—peaceful surroundings, great amenities, and a strong sense of safety made it a memorable experience for our family. Chris was an excellent host, always responsive and helpful. His clear communication ensured we were well-prepared for the trip and had everything we needed throughout our stay.

Chris’s place was absolutely incredible! Nestled in the mountains, it offered the perfect peaceful escape we were looking for. The view was breathtaking, waking up to that scenery every morning was unforgettable. The space was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Chris, thank you for your hospitality! We had a great time — we especially enjoyed the grill, the fireplace, the hammock, and the beautiful veranda! The place is so secluded — it’s wonderful to sit on the porch, admire the views, and watch all the different kinds of birds. There are so many things to say about this amazing stay! From the natural wild life stopping by the cabin, to the breath taking mountains that are just as big as the trees at sequoia national park! We were very satisfied with our stay here everything was just as good if not better than what we were expecting. Chris does a great job of checking in on us and went above and beyond for our memories that would last a lifetime. I will be coming back here in the future and will recommend this to my friends and family!

We spent two nights at the Trout River Cabin and really enjoyed our time there. The cabin is tucked away in the forest, offering a peaceful and quiet setting that feels completely removed from the outside world. It’s very clean, well maintained, and well equipped with everything we needed. Being surrounded by nature up in the mountains was a real highlight—it’s a beautiful and calming place. A couple of things to keep in mind: the drive to Sequoia National Park is no less than two hours, and the road between the cabin and Springville village is a challenging 30-minute drive each way, with steep and winding sections. That said, if you’re looking for a quiet retreat in the forest, this place has a lot to offer.

A lovely cabin in the forest to spend the weekend. With fewer visitors than the Sequoia National Park, family is welcome and recommended. The hosts are very responsive and kind.

Chris was a fantastic host as already mentioned by many other guests. He is very responsive and checks in periodically to ensure our stay was nothing less than wonderful. The instructions to the home was clear and was easy to find. Check in process was also easy and the place was perfect for our family with two little ones. The kids had fun running around. The views were great and it was a nice change of scenery from the busy-ness of city life. There were plenty of AC and heating units around the house and the kitchen was fully equipped. Beds and showers were also clean and comfortable. Our family had a memorable trip and we would love to come back again with our growing family. Thank you Chris!

Great stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. Quiet neighborhood, great location—would definitely stay here again!
