Mountain Hospitality

This was a great weekend getaway for my mother’s birthday. Location is easy to find and the views from the home are wonderful! Yes, you WILL loose cell signal coming up the mountain just after Springville, but you really don’t need it since it’s pretty much a straight shot to Camp Nelson and then the house. There are some stairs from the driveway down to the home, but they are very sturdy. Internal spiral stairs to the game room are not good for the elderly type, but one can easly use the deck stairs to get down. The kitchen is very well stocked with pretty much all the utensils you would need for a few days. Refrigerator is huge and has a built in ice maker and water dispenser, and the water tastes good (no chlorine flavor). Beds were all soft, comfortable and CLEAN. You can’t beat having a nice fire with it snowing and raining outside with a glass of wine and just enjoying the moment. In the mornings deer come right by the house and graze in the back. Chris is a wonderful host.

This was one of our favorite stays in a long time and Chris was an amazing host. Responsive, thoughtful and friendly. He was always quick to check in and ensure we had a great stay! Thank you!
