The main floor (level 3) is where everyone lands — living area, kitchen, and the primary suite — with a loft above, a twin-bed room below. A speaker system runs the music; two Fire Stick TVs handle movie night with your own subscriptions. Kitchen + Dining Built for real cooking: a 5-burner gas range with double ovens, two full-size refrigerators, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig and drip coffee makers, blender, food processor, and a juicer. Stock up in Porterville on the drive in — there are no stores in Sequoia Crest — and this kitchen carries the rest of the week. The dining area sits right off the kitchen; a washer and dryer are on site. Bedrooms Primary suite — Level 3 (main floor): King bed with en-suite bathroom: bidet, freestanding clawfoot soaking tub, and a large walk-in shower. Twin room — Level 2: Three twin beds with its own en-suite bathroom. Great for kids or the friends who called last. Loft — Level 4: Full bed perched above the main living area. One lower-level bathroom is locked for owner use and not part of the rental. The primary bath's clawfoot tub is worth the trip on its own. Outside Space Decks on multiple levels, an A-frame roofline through the trees, and forest in every direction. The hot tub sits on the upper deck off the primary suite — elevated, private, facing the forest, and the best seat on the property once the temperature drops and the sky opens up. A BBQ grill lives on the deck. Private Poppy Lake is a short walk away, and the Sequoia National Forest starts where the driveway ends. Other Details to Note
1. No cell service in Sequoia Crest. Download offline maps before leaving Porterville or Springville (Google Maps offline and AllTrails both work). WiFi calling works once you're on the cabin's Spectrum internet. 2. Backup generator on the middle deck. SoCal Edison cuts power in this area from time to time. If the power goes out, set the generator to AUTO; restore it to OFF before you leave. 3. Central AC: keep the thermostat at or above 72°F with doors and windows closed while running — this prevents the unit from freezing over. 4. Septic system: flush only the toilet paper provided — no wipes, feminine products, paper towels, or grease. Space out long showers; the drainfield has limits. 5. No trash service. Bag your trash and leave it inside the cabin at checkout — housekeeping hauls it away. Never leave trash or anything scented outside: this is bear country. 6. Winter access is real mountain business. The driveway requires plowing and the Redwood Drive approach is steep and can be icy — chains or 4WD required. Check conditions, build in time, and don't arrive after dark in uncertain weather. 7. Booking age requirement: 21. The primary booker must be 21+ at the time of booking. 8. Exterior security cameras are in use on the property.

Guest Access
The cabin is yours across the top 3 levels — every sleeping space, both living areas, the full kitchen, the hot tub, and the decks. The one exception: a lower-level bathroom is locked for owner use and not part of the rental. No shared areas otherwise, no front desk, no one to coordinate with. The level-1 bathroom has its own exterior entrance and is separate from the other floors. Check-in is self-service via smart lock — your personal code arrives before your stay. A backup lockbox is on site; its location and combo are shared in your check-in instructions. Parking for up to 2 vehicles on a long, narrow driveway with one turnaround. No trailers, no vehicles over 20 feet. 4WD or AWD strongly recommended, required with chains in winter.
